ME Projects carry out many other services along with our M&E installations. Whether that be Landlord Compliance Testing, Renewable Energy Systems like PV, Air Source Heat Pump installs and Electric Vehicle charging points amongst others.
Landlord Compliance Testing
The majority of landlords are proactive when it comes to ensuring the safety of their tenants, and make a welcome contribution to the housing market. But, unfortunately, a minority of landlords fail to be proactive, putting their tenants in danger as a result.
New Regulations require landlords to have the electrical installations in their properties inspected, and tested by a professional, to ensure their competence, at least every 5 years/tenancy change. Landlords have to provide a copy of the electrical safety report to their tenants, and to their local authority if requested. This means that all landlords now have to do what good landlords are already doing – Ensure the electrical installations in their rented properties are safe. We carry out all EICR reports and are an approved member of the NICEIC.
Our team are all Gas Safe registered, so should the property need a landlord Gas Safety Certificate or boiler services, we are equipped to accommodate this.
Renewable Energy Services
With changes to Building Regulations making renewable energy services a major part of M&E installations we have invested heavily in ensuring we can provide an array of services in house with other provided by our trusted partners.
We have multiple Plumbing & Heating engineers who have carried out additional training on the installation and commissioning of air source heat pumps and we are carrying out multiple installations currently.
Electric vehicle charging is also a key part of what we do and we are registered installers for Rolec.
MCS Accredited Renewable Energy Installers
We have carried out hundreds of heat pump installations from manufacturers such as Vaillant, Mitsubishi, Samsung and Worcester Bosch.
ME Projects also carry out Solar PV installations in house and MCS Accredited for both Solar PV and Air Source Heat Pumps.
Commercial Projects
We provide in house M&E design for commercial projects ranging in value from £20k to £2 million. Utilising directly employed labour, site management and support services, we deliver high quality installations complemented by innovative design and careful cost management. This is what ensures clients and main contractors will use ME Projects time and time again.
Domestic Projects
Whether it be a multi year Framework project for a local authority, or a bespoke build private residence, ME Projects pride ourselves on providing the same excellent level of service and attention to detail. We have vast experience in traditional gas boiler heating systems and also the 2025 building regs compliant installation of Air Source Heat Pumps and MVHR systems.
